This 3 day workshop presents clinicians with current evidence for effective interventions for stroke survivors to retrain lower limb abilities. The workshop will include analysis and interventions for stroke survivors in the acute stage, for example those who are profoundly weak, to those who are living in the community and want to improve their walking abilities. Clinical sessions each afternoon will enable clinicians to practise their clinical analysis, training and coaching skills. Stroke survivors will have the opportunity to practise and improve their mobility skills over the 3 days with assistance small groups of therapists.
