Do therapists attending the workshops need professional indemnity?

All therapists who attend face to face workshops will require professional indemnity insurance. You may or may not be asked to show evidence of this insurance. Different health districts may have different requirements (such as vaccination status, police checks) of visiting therapists. Either StrokeEd or the host site will provide this information.

Presenter fees for 2022 (including online Zoom workshops): 3-day workshop (UL and LL) = $4,500 per presenter (plus 10% GST). All 3-day workshops involve two presenters. Are people with stroke/patients involved in the workshops?

Yes - most workshops involve at least 6 stroke survivors (or adults with reduced balance) for 2 hours each day, where therapists apply evidence-based training ideas.
